The BirdTrack App goes global!

The first version of the BirdTrack App covering Britain and Ireland proved to be very popular. However, with birding being a global activity, we've expanded the coverage of the app so that you can now record your sightings from anywhere in the world. As well as allowing you to keep all your observations in one place, this also means they are available for research locally, nationally and globally. This means they can contribute to projects like the ongoing European Breeding Bird Atlas.

The new version also offers a choice of global baselists from which to record your sightings, such as the IOC and BirdLife International taxonomies, as well as various country-specific options. The app is designed to be translatable too: get in touch if your language is not supported yet and you can help with translation. If you already have the BirdTrack App on your iOS device, you will need to update it.
