Little Gull

Last week's high winds do seem to have pushed a few true 'sea-gulls' well inland, including at least two Little Gulls (Suffolk and Hertfordshire). Several Kittiwakes, another gull species that typically winters well offshore, were seen along the River Thames. These interesting records, along with another inland record from Staffordshire, show up clearly on the 2012 map for this species.
