Fieldwork for the European Breeding Bird Atlas 2 is nearing its end, and we are encouraging birders to submit any records with breeding evidence by mid September.
The Find the Gap map is a great way to check squares and species for which breeding evidence is still required. Data collection ran from 2013 to this summer, so any records from throughout that period will contribute to this exciting project. Records are also sought for continental Europe, especially eastern regions, and you can enter these through the global data entry portal.
