Flight of the Wild Geese

We are all familiar with the sight of geese flying overhead in autumn and winter, and many of us must wonder where they go in the summer after they have left their wintering sites. The author set out to follow them, heading north through the Faroes, Jan Mayen, Bear Island and eventually to Svalbard. This account follows his journey and the fantastic wildlife that he encountered en route.
