Whether you are a regular runner or a complete beginner, there are lots of opportunities to race and raise money for the BTO. Races of all lengths take place throughout the country during the year. Congratulations to Kate Bradbury, BTO's runner in the Brighton Marathon 2014
Kate put in a brilliant effort as her knee went at mile 18 so she managed the first half in 2 hours and the second half in 3.5 hours, hobbling the last 8 miles! She raised over £800 for Derek, one of our satellite-tagged Cuckoos.
Brighton Marathon - A runner's view
Mark is a keen birder and took up one of BTO's places in the Brighton Marathon 2013.Not only that, he was doing a second marathon just eight days later! That deserves some praise! He said:
