One Swift reveals some of the secrets of migration
22 Jun 2012Hot on the heels of the amazing revelations of the Cuckoo-tracking work we are delighted to reveal for the first time the full migration of a British tagged Swift. Bird A320 was caught at Fowlmere in Cambridge and fitted with a tiny geolocator weighing just 0.65g. A year later, the bird was recaptured and the data downloaded, revealing some interesting surprises.
