New Look BTO

Welcome to the new website – the first evidence of a fresh BTO image. It still has links to your favourite surveys and traditional features, such as BirdFacts and Bird trends, but we hope that you will find it easier to use. We have been taking a careful look at the way that we communicate with members, volunteers, scientists and other birdwatchers, in order better to present the results of surveys and research. One element of this change of approach is our new logo. At its heart is BTO and to the right is a description of what we do – ‘looking out for birds’ – both directly, through surveying, and indirectly, through the information we provide to conservation practitioners.
