Practice birdsongs and calls

“What’s that bird calling in the hedge?” “Is that a Dunnock or a Blackcap singing?” - If these are similar to questions you have asked yourself then we are here to help! In this session at Seaton Wetlands, we will focus on practising identifying birds by song and call. Learn from our experienced BTO team of staff and volunteers, build your confidence and refresh your bird ID skills in a relaxed, friendly setting, to help you make your birdwatching count for conservation!

This session is specifically designed for people that would like to take part in BTO coordinated surveys in the future, but don’t feel that they have the required bird identification skills to do so quite yet. Advanced booking essential. £10 per person. This session is limited to 12 participants. If cost is a barrier for you, please let us know. Please ensure that you pay to park before or after attending the session if required to do so.
