Join BTO Youth for a beach clean and birdwatching walk along Swansea Bay, guided by Youth Representative Ciera and the Swansea University Tree Society.

Join BTO Youth Representative Ciera and the Swansea University Tree Society for a combined beach clean and birdwatching walk along Swansea Bay. This event will be a great insight into bird identification, a chance to spot shorebirds and other birds inhabiting the beach, and an opportunity to make a positive impact on a local environment.

Toilets are located at the meeting point and food can be purchased nearby - we ask that lunch is had either before or after the event to avoid delays. The walk will take place on the sandy beach, which will be challenging for wheelchair users.

This event is run with the support of BTO and the Swansea University Tree Society.

Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at] bto.org.

Please note that this event is free to attend and open to 16–25-year-olds. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
