Join our Youth Volunteers to see help clean the beach and go for a spot of birding afterward at this beautiful beach!

Our team of Youth Volunteers will lead a beach clean at Chesil Beach to help preserve this beautiful habitat. Dorset Wildlife Trust will give a talk on marine litter and why it's a problem and will provide equipment and a safety briefing. The beach clean will last for two hours after which there is an option to get lunch from the cafe and go birding.

Come prepared for any weather in appropriate clothing and footwear, and bring some water and a snack. If you have some sturdy gloves (for example, DIY or gardening gloves) these would be helpful too. The Centre is accessible via public transport. Note that the event will be on the beach and so on an uneven surface.

Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at] bto.org

Please note that this event is open to under 25-year-olds only. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event and participants under 13 will need to attend with a parent or carer.
