Join BTO Youth Representative Georgina at St Andrews Botanic Garden for a ringing demonstration. Learn why we ring birds, how we do so safely, and see them closer than ever before.
Skilled ringers will be on site at the St Andrews Botanic Gardens to show you all there is to learn about the ringing process. Rings allow us to learn more about each individual birds' life, and the ringers on site will be able to answer all your questions and show some of the birds that visit the Botanic Gardens up close. BTO Youth Representative Georgina will be on hand to explain more about the ringing process, and how you can get involved with BTO and enjoy birdwatching near you.
There will be two timeslots available: 10:00–11:30 and 11:30–13:00. Please note that you are now on the booking page for the 10:00–11:30 timeslot, you can book for the later slot here.
Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at] bto.org.
