Join BTO Youth at Hampstead Heath for a bird and nature walk assisted by Heath Hands.

Join BTO Youth member Keir and Arjun for an 12–25-year-olds bird and nature walk at Hampstead Heath, assisted by Heath Hands. 

We'll walk to Parliament hill in search of birds of prey as well as fantastic views over London, then follow the trial through the SSSI of Kenwoods. We'll explore the Repton landscape in search of the elusive Purple Emperor butterfly.

Next we'll head to the Old Orchard Garden (normally closed to the public) to learn about snakes, dragonflies and more while enjoying lunch. Finally head down to the ponds in the search of Kingfishers and Reed Warblers before having a look into some of the wilder parts of the Heath.

 
Please note that participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
