As part of the Spurn Bird Observatory 2018 Migration Festival, the observatory and the British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) are once again running a competition to find the Martin Garner Spurn Young Birder of The Year. Entry is now closed for this year; look out for it reopening in 2019.
