The Golden Eagle

When it was first published in 1997, this was the definitive monograph of one of our most iconic and loved species, written by one of the recognised experts. The following decade led to more work on Golden Eagles, and an updated second edition became increasingly necessary. Jeff set about this task, but before it was finished he lost his battle against cancer, and it was completed by a band of colleagues. If you are fascinated by the king of birds, or predators in general then this is highly recommended. Readable, yet scholarly.
