Sherwood moving north

03 Jan 2019 During the early evening of New Year's eve Sherwood was flying north. He is now less than 2km (just over a mile) from the southern border of Gabon and in the northeast corner of the Conkouati Reserve. Could this 70km (44 miles) movement be the first leg of his long journey back to Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire? The journey back to Sherwood Forest via West Africa is 8,000km (5,000 miles) as the Cuckoo flies.
