Ever wondered what the collective noun for a lot of lice is? Well, wonder no more, the answer is in this book! I knew about a ‘charm’ of Goldfinches which always seemed an appropriate name for these colourful birds, so it was interesting to read how the term came to be used. Each of the animals and birds listed has an explanation about the group name, and background information. Beautifully illustrated by the author too. A great book for those not only interested in animal and bird trivia but also the English language.
