Join BTO Youth for a talk on White-tailed Eagles and a wildlife walk around the RSPB Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve, guided by young volunteers Mya Bambrick, Georgina Tugwell and Samuel Levy.
Join Youth Representatives Mya, Georgie and Samuel for an awesome event focused on White-tailed Eagles, their reintroduction, ecology, and their importance to conservation. The event will begin with a short talk about the species, followed by a walk around the Pulborough Brooks Nature Reserve with the aim to spot an Eagle or two!
This event will give the opportunity to meet other like-minded young people with an interest in birds of prey, build on your knowledge of this magnificent species (as well as conservation efforts and the power of reintroduction), increase your local bird ID skills, and finally learn various birding expertise from our hosts.
Toilets are located at the start of the walk at the visitor centre. Paths can be uneven and there are some hills (not wheelchair accessible). If required, two self-drive mobility scooters can be hired in advance from the visitor centre. For more information on the reserve, please click the link for the RSPB website.
A lunch break will be provided approximately halfway through the event. We will aim to be finished by around 15:00pm.
