This event comprises a guided walk along the river and among the trees to look for birds, followed by an (optional) warm drink and a natter at the cafe.
The event is free to attend and open to cis women, trans women, and those identifying as female and non-binary, aged 25 and under. We aim to create a welcoming, supportive space where participants can connect, learn and enjoy nature without pressure or judgement. Respect and inclusivity are central to this event, and we’re committed to making everyone feel safe and valued.
Toilets are located at the meeting point and there are places to purchase food and drink at the cafe (9am-4pm). This event is wheelchair accessible (route via even pathway), and we’re happy to adjust activities to accommodate your accessibility needs - please let us know in advance. Nearby bus and train services are available, and support can be offered if required.
This event is run with the support of BTO. If you have any questions, please email youth@bto.org.
Please note: After registering, participants under 18 will need to complete and sign a consent form with their parent(s)/guardian(s). Completed forms will need to be sent to youth@bto.org before the event.
