As part of the exciting Birds on the Branchline project, BTO Youth Representatives David and Carla will take you on a guided bird walk starting and finishing at Lelant Station. You will walk past the Hayle Estuary and onto the beach looking out for waders, wildfowl and songbirds. Bring binoculars if you have them!

Birds on the Branchline

The Birds on the Branchline project explores and celebrates the heritage of songbirds and their habitat on the St Ives Bay line. It delivers award-winning creative literacy/ nature preservation workshops based around the notion of Word Birds and a Poetree to children and young people living in the local community and special  'on board’ events for everyone. A celebratory photoshoot will be taking place on Lelant station on 25th March between 2.30pm and 3.30pm  featuring the Poetree - all welcome!
