Join our Youth Representatives to see the fantastic bird life that can be found by the Portland Bird Observatory!

Our Youth Representatives will take you on a circular walk exploring the nature of the Jurassic Coast near Portland. They'll help you learn to identify local species of bird by sound, and highlight their personal tips and tricks. Target species will be coastal birds and plants. There'll be a stop at the Portland Bird Observatory where you'll meet those who work there and they will share their seabird wisdom.

Come prepared for any weather in appropriate clothing and footwear, and bring some water and lunch, or you can buy these at the local cafe.

Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at] bto.org.

Please note that this event is open to under 25-year-olds only, with a focus on 13–25-year-olds. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
