Join BTO YAP member and wildlife artist Alicia Hayden to learn how to draw a Robin, an Avocet, and an Osprey!

Join us during this year’s Creativity and Wellbeing week to learn about three British bird species – robin, avocet, and osprey. Led by wildlife artist and BTO Youth Advisory Panel member, Alicia Hayden, we will learn to draw these species step-by-step over Zoom.
Over the course of the hour draw-along, you will learn how to paint a charismatic robin; capture the black-and-white beauty of the avocet, and learn how to use inks to capture the feather detail of the osprey.
 
What equipment do I need? Alicia will be using a brush and ink, a brush pen, and a pencil, but any felt tip, biro, paint, ink, or pencil will be okay - you can even try a digital drawing!
 

This event will take place on Zoom and is open to those aged 10–25 only. The link will be sent out 24 hours before the event. Please note that attendees under 13 will need to send in a consent form prior to the event.
