Join BTO's Youth Representatives in a Q&A with wildlife filmmaker, director and producer, Chris Howard.

In this session, Chris will talk about his career to date and answer your questions about nature, filmmaking and working in broadcasting.

Chris has worked in wildlife television for over 15 years, specialising in British wildlife and Live broadcasts. He has done almost every job going on the Springwatch, Autumnwatch and Winterwatch series; starting as a runner in 2005 and completing the set as series producer from 2017-2019. This is where he developed his passion for British wildlife in particular, always trying to present it in an entertaining and accessible way to inspire people to care for and protect what is on their doorstep. In-between 'Watches' series he has been involved in many of the BBC's big lie natural history events such as Big Blue Live and Blue Planet Live, made a 3D film for Sky with Sir David Attenborough, launched and presented on BBC Earth's Earth Unplugged YouTube channel and made many programmes for children's TV. He is currently working at Silverback Films on their latest commission for BBC One - a landmark series on British Wildlife to go out in early 2023.

This event will take place on Zoom and is open to those under 25 only. The link will be sent out 24 hours before the event. Please note that attendees under 13 will need to send in a consent form prior to the event.
