Nest: the art of birds
Janine Burke describes the intricacies of the natural world in an interesting and enjoyable story book style. It is more of a natural history story in which the beauty of nests is portrayed throughout the ages. The use of stories, poems and historical accounts throughout bring to attention what a beautiful artwork nests can be, even though in most cases they are purely functional creations.
This is an enjoyable and easy read full of interesting facts and a different perspective on natural history books.
