The birds of Bute: a bird atlas and local avifauna

With records from the fieldwork of Bird Atlas 2007-11 available to the authors, the result is a beautifully produced book, showing distribution of birds on this relatively small island in the Firth of Clyde. Updating previous studies, this is the definitive book on the state of birds on Bute and is to be highly commended on its quality, clarity, content and aesthetic appeal.
