Lesser Grey Shrike, Yoav Perlman

A rare but annual visitor from south-eastern Europe, Lesser Grey Shrike is most frequently recorded in the months of May, June and September.

The western end of the Lesser Grey Shrike's breeding range has contracted, the species lost as a breeding bird from much of France and Germany.

This migratory species winters in southern Africa.
