Overview

Cumulative Impact Assessments are an important component of the Environmental Statements prepared by developers to assess the likely effect of these wind farms on the environment. However, there is considerable inconsistency in the manner in which such assessments have been conducted. The aim of this report is to provide a review of the current methodologies for birds used in Cumulative Impact Assessments and draft guidelines based on best practice.
