BTO Northern Ireland and Butterfly Conservation NI are coming together for this FREE online session discussing the birds and the butterflies, and how you can get involved with helping us to understand them better.

Event Description

Did you know that the Wider Countryside Butterfly Survey (WCBS) method is broadly based on the Breeding Bird Survey (BBS) method? Join BTO NI and Butterfly Conservation NI to hear about BBS and WCBS, and how you can get involved.

  • Wider Countryside Butterfly Survey - what it is, why it is important, and how to get involved
  • Introduction to butterfly identification

The presentation will last for about one hour with plenty of time at the end for your questions.

Zoom joining instructions will be emailed the day before each session. The session will be recorded, in case you’re unable to attend.
