Role and responsibilities

Samuel works within the BTO Youth Engagement team to help deliver events such as the Youth in Nature Summit, Bird Camps and other residentials throughout the year. Samuel also works closely with both our Youth Advisory Panel and Youth Representatives aiming to help support our Youth Volunteers in creating opportunities and events for young people led by young people.


Interests

Samuel is a keen Birder, Naturalist, Bird Ringer & surveyor based in North London. He can often be found out in his patches the Totteridge Valley and Rainham Marshes or out ringing when not at work.

Samuel was previously a Youth Advisory Panel member and by being a part of the team strives to keep the momentum of the programme going and create opportunities for more young people to get involved with birdwatching.

  • BSc (Hons) Ecology and Wildlife Conservation - Bournemouth University (2018-2022)
  • MSc Biodiversity Conservation - Bournemouth University (2022-2023)
