Anna is responsible for leading BTO’s Becoming (More) Inclusive work which is rooted in the BTO 2023–2030 Strategy area of Embracing Everyone.
Interests and responsibilities
Anna is passionate about finding new ways to make nature and birds accessible and inclusive to more people. Through our Becoming (More) Inclusive work, she is dedicated to creating an organisation and culture where everyone is welcomed, valued and supported to contribute to our mission: achieving the greatest impact for birds and people. She is also an illustrator and believes art is a powerful way to rebuild our relationships with nature and birds.
Qualifications
- BA in Art History, University of East Anglia (explored the link between contemporary art and practices of environmental care)
- MA in Arts and Society, University of Utrecht, NL (Like a Bird: Art, Affect and Interspecies Encounters)
- CMI Level 4 Award in Management and Leadership: Promoting Equality and Diversity
