The ruby anniversary of the GBFS in 2009/10 was marked in style with the coldest winter for 30 years. This special double-length issue of GBFS News celebrates the survey’s 40 year history with exciting findings past and present. The BTO extends a huge ‘thank you’ to all participants – the Trust retaining its status as worldleaders in the study of garden birds.
