During this small-group event we will enjoy spending time together looking at waders, waterbirds and any other species that are present. We'll start from first principles of how we idenfity birds to species level, learning about the importance of structure and shape.
Once we're comfortable with a few reference species we'll use these for comparisons with other, more challenging species. Many of these skills are transferable to other species groups and they will help with your development as a birdwatcher.
This is a fantastic opportunity to increase your confidence in a supportive environment, plus meet some like-minded souls and enjoy learning about birds!
- The event will take place at Kinneil near Grangemouth.
- Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather conditions.
If you would like to book multiple places, please log out of your MyBTO account and book each additional place as a separate transaction. We aren't able to process multiple bookings through a single transaction at the moment.
