Location

This event comprises an informal walk and talk around the Coleraine Campus. Participants will learn how to identify the common birds found in their local greenspace, with a combined walk and some fun, engaging activities. The walk will provide plenty of breaks to allow for birdwatching and activities. Please consider a 2km walk around the site.

The event is free to attend and open to all ages. We aim to create a welcoming, supportive space where participants can connect, learn and enjoy nature without pressure or judgement. This event is wheelchair accessible and we’re happy to adjust activities to accommodate your accessibility needs - please let us know if anything specific is required in advance.

Toilets are located at the Coleraine University Sports Centre and in the main University Building. Nearby bus and train services are available, and support can be offered if required. Please view the University webpage for all travel options. There is free parking available on campus all day on Saturdays.

This event is run with the support of BTO. If you have any questions, please email youth@bto.org.

Please note: After registering, participants under 18 will need to complete and sign a consent form with their parent(s)/guardian(s). Completed forms will need to be sent to youth@bto.org before the event. We ask that under 16’s be accompanied by an adult.
