Join BTO Youth Representative Zak for an afternoon of learning how to make a Terrarium

Event Description

This beginner-friendly event offers the chance to learning how to make your very own Terrarium which you can take home with you at the end of the day. 

Participants of this event will learn how to make and maintain a terrarium as well as having the chance to meet link minded individuals. 

Attendees can bring their own jars and houseplants, but there will be jars and plants provided as well. 


This event is free and open to 16-25 year olds.

The event is designed to be friendly and accessible for beginners, so no prior knowledge or equipment is needed.


Under 18s:


Under 18s must complete and send a consent form to youth@bto.org prior to the event.

 

Accessibility:


The centre for wildlife gardening is wheelchair accessible and has toilets on site. 


If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when booking so we can make appropriate arrangements.


What to bring:

  • A curious mind
  • Appropriate footwear
  • Water (and a snack if you’d like one)
  • House Plants and your own jars are optional

BTO Youth events are designed to help young people connect with nature, develop wildlife skills and meet others with similar interests. They are always free to attend. Many events are led by our Youth Representatives - young volunteers who organise local activities to help others get involved in birdwatching and nature.
