To celebrate the first season of Cudyll Cymru and the valuable data it is generating, we are hosting our inaugural Welsh Raptor Convention on 31st January 2026 at Aberystwyth University.

We hope the event will foster a sense of community among our volunteers, providing opportunities to network with like-minded people and learn from more experienced peers.

As well as presenting what we've learned about Welsh raptors this year, the event will feature prominent guest speakers such as: 

Eagle Reintroduction Wales - White Tailed Eagles in Wales

National Wildlife Crime Unit - Protecting our Birds – Enforcement Partnership at Work 

Keith Offord - Raptors of the Welsh Uplands

Also on offer is a skill-building workshop focussing on identification of feathers and raptor signs, and—most importantly—a free lunch!
