The BirdTrack flickr pool hit 5,000 images today (albeit temporarily, as folk regularly move their images in and out of different groups)! The 5,000th photo was this interesting shot of a Sandwich Tern achieving an incredible balancing act! Tern activity is at fever pitch at colonies around Britain and Ireland as adults provision for their young. When adding breeding status to BirdTrack records, remember that terns can transport food over long distances so take care if using the code FF for carrying food.
