New developments in BirdTrack

Within the next few months, BirdTrack will be moving to a single website and closing the Britain and Ireland portal. The sole portal will be the current Beta page, which has had several new features added in recent months. These exciting new features include nine widgets that can be displayed on the front page, including an activity widget and recent sightings.

The activity widget shows your most recent visits entered on BirdTrack, and these can be shared through social media. Additionally, when creating a site, there is also now an option to select popular places, such as RSPB reserves, National Trust properties and National Nature reserves.
