Breeding evidence and EBBA 2

15 Mar 2017 Bluethroat by Paul Cools

With lengthening days and warmer temperatures, March marks the beginning of the breeding season for many of the commoner resident species in Britain and Ireland. Most activity will be focused on establishing a territory, though the first Robins and Dunnocks may already be sitting on eggs by the end of the month.  If you record any possible, probable or confirmed breeding evidence, do log it in the app or online.

Adding breeding evidence to records means they will contribute towards the ongoing second European Breeding Bird Atlas (EBBA2). Sightings are also very welcome from areas in Europe that have large gaps in coverage.
