BirdTrack and Patchwork Challenge

12 Dec 2016 Patchwork Challenge

Since being launched in 2013 as a way to encourage birders to focus on local sites, Patchwork Challenge has struck a chord with birders and several hundred participate annually. BirdTrack is the ideal way to keep tabs on what you have recorded on your patch.

PWC birders in Wales have particularly taken to using BirdTrack, thanks in part to ongoing encouragement from WOS. More than 60% of participants have added records and the top three PWC BirdTrackers in Wales – Ceri Jones, Alastair Flannagan and Julian Hughes – have logged an incredible 45,000 sightings between them this year!

If you are not already doing so, why not take part in 2017? All you need is a site not exceeding three square kilometres that you visit regularly.
