Trevor Beebee has managed to present the current information in a way that is good, not just for scientists, but for any interested amateur natural historians.

The book leads you through the findings for different taxa in a clear, compelling fashion and bravely finishes with what this might mean for the future. Trevor Beebee’s impartial style displays the evidence and, in my opinion, tries to honestly communicate uncertainty.

In all, Climate Change and British Wildlife is a carefully crafted book, providing an in depth look at the current knowledge available about the impact of climate change on our wildlife. The triumph of this book is the level of detail whilst being an engaging read.
