A. When they change colour to pink.
Q. Some of my berry-producing shrubs were cleared of berries by the birds before I started the survey. How should I record these?
A. Please ignore any bushes or shrubs that were cleared of berries.
Q. Is it just thrushes that you want to know about or all berry-eating birds?
A. Although part I of the survey just covered thrushes, the other two components covered ALL birds.
