BirdTrack at Birdfair and Migfest

10 Aug 2018 Spurn Migration Festival

The BirdTrack team will once again be attending the Rutland Birdfair on 17–19 August. The team will be present at the BTO stand in Marquee 3 on the Friday and Sunday, ready to answer any BirdTrack related queries you may have! There will also be walks around some of the lagoons, with a good chance of seeing Osprey, as well as migrant waders such as Green and Wood Sandpiper.

Now in its fourth year, Migfest returns to Spurn Point, East Yorkshire on 7–9 September. Ideally timed for migration, previous editions have recorded Kentish Plover, Long-billed Dowitcher and Wryneck amongst others. As well as birds, there is a wide variety of events, including migration walks and a talk by BirdTrack's Scott Mayson. Tickets can be booked on the festival website.
