Held each September for the last three years, the Spurn Migration Festival has become an established part of the birding calendar and a must- not- miss event for anyone wishing to be inspired by the miracle of bird migration.

Andy Clements, Director of the BTO commented, “When we were asked if we would like to partner the Migration Festival it didn’t take much thinking about. This has become the premier UK event for engaging people in bird migration, giving everyone an opportunity to make a difference by watching and recording migrating birds. We look forward to helping to ensure the Spurn Migration Festival goes from strength to strength.”

Rob Adams, Chairman of Spurn Bird Observatory Trust Ltd, said "I am very excited about the prospect of working with the BTO to deliver the Mig Fest. It will allow the festival to take a step up to the next level and make the event even more customer focused than ever before."

The 2016 Migration Festival will take place at Spurn Point, East Yorkshire on Friday 9 September to Sunday 11 September, for more information, please visit http://spurnmigfest.com/
