We are looking for bird-watchers to act as mentors to new volunteers.
We are working hard to encourage more people to take part in the Breeding Bird Survey in Scotland, particularly in the uplands where recording coverage is lower. Many suitable volunteers need a little support and encouragement as they get started.
We would be very pleased to hear from skilled bird-watchers who might have a little time to help mentor less experienced observers.
If you would be keen to help the new generation of BBS volunteers and to help us increase the coverage of this important survey then please consider sharing your skills and expertise with us. We will provide you with all of the support and encouragement that you need.
If you would like to learn more about what is involved in mentoring, please email scot.info [at] bto.org
