Places are limited to 12 per session, with two tutors, so we ask that you only register if you:
1. expect to join (or have joined) the live Gull ID course sessions and/or watched the recordings,
2. plan to work through self-learning activities in this course, and
3. are as sure as you can be that you’ll be able to attend on Thursday 27 November at 6.45–8:30 p.m.
Before the tutorial, you will be asked to supply specific questions about, and/or challenges you have face with gull identification. These could be experience-based or theoretical, and might include photos of birds that proved difficult to identify.
The tutorial will be held on Zoom and last about 1 hour 45 minutes, including a comfort break. It will be framed around participants’ questions / challenges – these can be submitted anonymously, but you will be able to expand on those if you wish, and everyone who wants to will have the opportunity to speak. Zoom’s Chat tool will be available for those who prefer not to unmute or don’t have a microphone.
After booking you should receive an automatic confirmation email. If this doesn’t arrive, please check your spam/junk email folder and if it is not there, or you have any other questions or booking issues, please email us at training@bto.org
If you would like to access the tutorial but the cost is prohibitive, please let us know.
