Are Blue Tits particularly prone to beak deformities?

Blue Tits are heading up the list of the most frequently observed species with beak deformities in gardens. This popular visitor accounts for almost two thirds of BTO Big Garden Beak Watch records, with Blackbird second in the list, accounting for a quarter. In total, over 240 individuals across more than 25 species have been recorded.
