Places available

Join BTO Youth for a birdwatching walk at Cors Ddyga RSPB Reserve on Isle of Anglesey, and spot breeding and resident birds such as Curlew, Lapwing and Marsh Harriers. Guided by Youth Representative Alice.

Join BTO Youth Representative Alice at the Cors Ddyga RSPB reserve for a birdwatching walk within one of the largest lowland wetlands in Wales. This event will be a great insight into bird identification of all levels, opportunities to spot breeding birds and learn how to get involved with BTO surveys and citizen science projects.

Alice will also share details of the 'Natur am Byth' partnership, Wales’ flagship Green Recovery project, as well as local volunteer opportunities and the chance to ask career questions.

The walk will be slow paced and on trails on stone track and grass-covered clay. Toilets and refreshments can be found off site in Llangefni.

This event is run with the support of BTO and RSPB Cymru.

Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at]

Please note that this event is free to attend and open to 12–25-year-olds. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
