Join our Youth Representatives Keir and Samuel to see the first of our spring migration arrivals at Totteridge Valley!

Our Youth Representatives will take you on a walk exploring the birds that can be found around Totteridge Valley, focusing on the species arriving now from their migrations, so an ideal walk for those that took part in the migration sessions of Birding 101. Keir and Samuel will help you learn to identify species of bird by sound, and highlight their personal tips and tricks.

Come prepared for any weather in appropriate clothing and footwear (it'll be quite muddy, so wellies or walking boots are recommended), and bring some water and a snack or lunch. If you have binoculars or a scope, do bring them along. Note that there are no toilets or facilities near this walk and it is unfortunately not accessible by wheelchair. The total walk will be around 4 miles (6.5km).

Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at] bto.org. For accessibility, visit the RSPB website.

Please note that this event is open to 10–25-year-olds only. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
