Join our Youth Representatives to see the fantastic bird life that can be found at Arne RSPB Nature Reserve!

Our Youth Representatives will take you on a walk exploring the nature of the Arne RSPB Nature Reserve. They'll help you learn to identify local species of bird by sound, and highlight their personal tips and tricks.

The walk will be a circular walk along forested paths and along the coast, with views of the famous Brownsea Island. You'll be scouting the area looking for local plant and bird species (White-tailed Eagles have been seen here!). Target species will include coastal birds and plants.

Come prepared for any weather in appropriate clothing (no shorts – it's tick season!) and footwear, and bring some water and lunch. Don't forget a hat and sun cream. There is an option to buy a drink and food at the cafe. The walk will start and finish at the Arne RSPB car park.

Any questions or to get in touch with the organisers please email youth [at] bto.org.

Please note that this event is open to under 25-year-olds only, with a focus on 13–24-year-olds. Participants under 18 will need to fill in a consent form with their parent(s)/carer(s) and send this to BTO before the event.
