Pricing

Our weekend residential courses in 2018 cost £250. The price includes teaching, materials, refreshments and full board and lodgings from a cooked evening meal on Friday to packed lunch on Sunday. Entry fees to reserves are not included so don't forget to bring any relevant membership cards.

A non-residential price of £170 is also available, which includes packed lunches and evening meals but not bed or breakfast. Please ask for more details, though note that there are both pre-breakfast and post-dinner activities.

Set in woodland in the Conwy valley just outside Betws-y-coed, this great venue offers access to a wide range of different habitats in which to watch and learn about birds. Led by renowned ornithologist and accomplished tutor Steve Piotrowski, the course will start with visual identification of common species. There will be several outdoor sessions, including an opportunity to focus on waders at the RSPB Conwy reserve, offering lots of opportunities to build your confidence identifying birds in various habitats! Formal taught sessions will help reinforce the learning and participants are encouraged to learn from each other as well.
