Blueberry Goose

This gives an interesting insight into the lives of semi-captive wildfowl and the character traits of individuals within species and interactions between species.  There is a particular focus on one the author named “Blueberry” (a Snow Goose) and her offspring over the course of approximately 10 years living on the lake on the University of York Heslington West campus.  An out-of-date campus map has no impact on the story itself.  Over the course of the book you become attached to the geese within and find yourself wanting to know more about them.
